Resumo

The Cavalhadas of Pirenópolis, an event of the Divine Holy Espirit suffered the consequences of the several urban transformations in the city from the forties of the XXth century. The whole process had been marked by social conflicts around the boundaries of physical and political spaces and printed in its own characteristics that turned it one of the main cultural manifestations of the place.
