ResumoIt has been shown that aerial applications of malathion have been effective in controlling Aedes ae.gpti in urban areas of Thailand (l-3) and Indonesia (4). Aerial applications of malathion have also been made in the Bahamas and Jamaica during the Caribbean dengue epidemic of 1977 (5) and additional aerial spraying operations have been conducted in Tapachula and other cities of southern Mexico, as well as in Honduras, during 1978 and 1979.
