In the study were enrolled 137 patients with medullary thyroid cancer (MTC). Low 35%-sensitivity of FNAC and high accuracy of basal calcitonin in MTC diagnostics were found. Mutation analysis of the RET pro- tooncogene in familial and sporadic MTC, RAS -gene in sporadic MTC were done. The correlation between type of the mutation and disease aggressiveness was found.

The present paper describes the experimental results for aerosol-jet singlet oxygen generator with a twisted flux to separate the aerosol effectively. It was demonstrated that at 50 torr pressure and 30 m/s velocity, there does not exist the aerosol in the flux at the reactor output, and singlet oxygen contribution constitutes 70%, not less. The numerical simulations results are given for supersonic COIL up to 50 torr pressure in the nozzle input with and without inertia diluent in the main flux.

The losses in various COIL elements with pressure growth are analyzed. The results of the Singlet Oxygen Generator with Twisted Aerosol flow (TA-SOG) investigations are presented. The experimental results demonstrate TA-SOG output values exceed those of other types SOGs known from publications. TA-SOG outflow is aerosol-free all over the broadly ranged parameters even at a gas pressure over 100 Torr and velocity 100 m/sec. The maximal chemical efficiency was obtained as 70 percent.
