본 연구는 K-pop 엔터테인먼트 산업의 역동적 현상인 역주행을 이해하는 것을 목적으로, ‘브레이브걸스’의 「롤린」 역주행 현상을 구체적으로 분석하였다. 먼저 「롤린」의 역주행과 관련된 맥락과 발생과정을 자세하게 기술하였으며, 음원으로서의 성과와 비즈니스적 성과를 설명하였다. 이어서 역주행에 대한 원인으로 ‘특정 가능한 트리거의 존재’, ‘콘텐츠 자체의 매력’, ‘신규 남성 팬층의 유입’, ‘아이돌로서의 약점을 강점으로 전환’, ‘현실 그룹의 스토리에 대한 심리적 공감’, ‘소속사의 발 빠른 대응과 소통’이라는 6가지를 요인을 분석하여 제시하였다’. 역주행의 영향으로 ‘노래 외의 인기와 관심과 확장’, ‘구매력 높은 소비층 형성’의 2가지 변화를 제시하였다. 이를 통해서 K-pop 엔터테인먼트 산업에서의 역주행이 가지는 의미와 역할 및 가능성을 논의하였다. 앞으로도 음악 시장에서의 역주행을 주목할만한 현상으로 인식해야 할 필요가 있을 것이며, 관련된 유튜브와 같은 매체의 활용이나 새로운 아이돌 소비층의 ...
