Methods for the determination of As and Pb in wines by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS) are proposed. A factorial experimental design was combined with response surface methodology (RSM) to optimize the catalyzed CO2 consumption by coke deposition and syngas production during the dry reforming of CH4. The CH4/CO2 feed ratio and the reaction temperature were chosen as the variables, and the selected responses were CH4 and CO2 conversion, the H2/CO ratio, and coke deposition. Nanocrystalline nickel disulfide, NiS2, was mechanochemically prepared using ball milling procedures in inert atmosphere, starting from 34:66 Ni:S powder mixtures. X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) patterns showed that 6 h of milling are enough to allow the formation of the NiS2 phase, which is accompanied by a small fraction of the hexagonal NiS phase. A strong association between the proportion of indigenous South American Mapuche ancestry and the risk of gallbladder cancer (GBC) has been reported in observational studies. Chileans show the highest incidence of GBC worldwide, and the Mapuche are the largest indigenous people in Chile. Abstract An updated synthesis of cyanobacteria and algae information is presented for Brazil aiming to refine the data gathered to date and evaluate the progress of the biodiversity knowledge about these organisms in the country since the publication of the Catálogo de Plantas e Fungos do Brasil.
