Background GRACE, TIMI, Zwolle, and CADILLAC are risk scores designed for predicting short-term outcome after acute coronary syndromes. The aim of our study was to test their utility for a prognosis of 5-year survival in a "real-life" population of patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) treated with primary percutaneous coronary interventions (pPCI). Methods Our registry consisted of consecutive patients with STEMI treated ...

Abstract Background The CADILLAC risk score was developed to identify patients at low risk for adverse cardiovascular events following ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) treated with primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI). Methods We performed a single center retrospective review of STEMI hospitalizations treated with PPCI from 2014 to 2018. Patients were stratified using the CADILLAC risk score into low risk, intermediate risk and ...

To examine whether the CADILLAC risk score is an effective method of patient stratification for early discharge following ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).Patients with STEMI are typically hospitalized to monitor for serious complications such as arrhythmias, heart failure, and reinfarction. Optimal length of stay is unclear. Whether low risk patients can be safely discharged before 72 hr of hospitalization is unclear.Patients with STEMI who underwent successful PCI were retrospectively stratified using CADILLAC risk score to low risk (n = 123) and ...

We determined the outcomes of patients with acute ST-segment elevation (STE) myocardial infarction (STEMI) and non-STEMI (NSTEMI) after primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The prognosis after primary PCI in STEMI has been extensively studied and defined. Outcomes of patients who undergo primary PCI for NSTEMI are less well established. In total, 2,082 patients with ongoing chest pain for >30 minutes consistent with acute MI were randomized to balloon angioplasty versus stenting, each with/ ...

Aim To compare the prognostic accuracy of six scoring models for up to three-year mortality and rates of hospitalisation due to acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) in STEMI patients. Methods and Results A total of 593 patients treated with primary PCI were evaluated. Prospective follow-up of patients was ≥3 years. Thirty-day, one-year, two-year, and three-year mortality rates were 4.0%, 7.3%, 8.9%, and 10.6%, respectively. Six risk scores—the TIMI score and derived dynamic TIMI, CADILLAC, PAMI, ...
