El diagnóstico de gripe A/H1N1 es fundamentalmente clínico sobre todo durante los picos de la gripe estacional o en brotes epidémicos. Se recomienda realizar un test diagnóstico a todos los pacientes con fiebre y cuadro gripal que requieran hospitalización.
