W. Thomas Nichols,

LOTUS MANUSCRIPT is a sophisticated word and document processor that mixes different types of information on the same page: text, graphs, charts, tables, and equations. It accepts material from 1-2-3, SYMPHONY, and THINKTANK. Text is divided into blocks and sections that can be moved, indexed, footnoted, and cross-referenced. The document-compare feature highlights changes between revisions. A powerful print formatter makes tables and columns and sets fonts and point sizes. MANUSCRIPT includes a ...

In summary, I am very well pleased with Nota Bene as a word processor explicitly designed for the scholarly writer. It is an efficient and powerful word processor, capable of performing virtually every function a researcher could desire (except come up with the research ideas themselves!). The text-base feature alone would be well worth having to deal with a much clumsier text editor. The many features of this word processor will meet the needs of eventhe most demanding user. Nota Bene has been endorsed ...
