液々撹拌槽中での液滴径制御や物質移動現象のより詳細な解明には槽内各所での液滴径分布についての知見を把握することが重要である.このための測定法, 特に実際の諸工業で実施されている高液滴濃度での測定法で, 高精度かつ高速な方法はほとんど無いのが実情である.本報では著者らが独自に開発したリアルタイム高速画像処理システムを改良, 最適化して従来の液滴径測定法の問題を解決する新たな測定法を提案するものである.液滴の分裂合ーのない吸引サンプリング条件を見出した上で, 各種液々系で液滴径分布の測定を行った.結果として, 物性の異なる種々の液々系での液滴径分布を精度よく測定できた.約500個の液滴計測の所要時間は0.7s以内と極めて迅速であり, その測定誤差は6%以下と精度の高いものであった.回転数, 測定位置と液滴濃度に対して分布が変化する状況が測定できた.滴中滴発生の判定が行えることも示した.
