Moody's 1877 Boston campaign when the Boston Globe promised a bound volume of its stenographic accounts for those anxious to secure and treasure a complete and authentic record of the evangelist's winter-long meetings. The general excellence and uniform accuracy of the Globe's information had even noted by the great man himself. Never, Moody was quoted as saying, had he been so well reported by any newspaper in the world.l
