Charles Bujold, Geneviève Fournier,

The mental representations of employment precariousness, occupational success, and work were examined in a sample of 124 White Canadian francophones (62 men, 62 women) who had experienced nonstandard and precarious work for the last 3 years. Typologies of each of these representations were derived from the content analysis of the data collected through semistructured individual interviews. The results of this study are consistent with the literature, indicating that nonstandard and precarious workers ...

Previous evidence indicates that adjuvant, short-course androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) improves metastasis-free survival when given with primary radiotherapy for intermediate-risk and high-risk localised prostate cancer. However, the value of ADT with postoperative radiotherapy after radical prostatectomy is unclear.

Patients with complex care needs (PCCNs) often suffer from combinations of multiple chronic conditions, mental health problems, drug interactions and social vulnerability, which can lead to healthcare services overuse, underuse or misuse. Typically, PCCNs face interactional issues and unmet decisional needs regarding possible options in a cascade of interrelated decisions involving different stakeholders (themselves, their families, their caregivers, their healthcare practitioners). In this article, five theoretical models of integration into the labor market are at first presented. Each of these views this integration as a major life transition. Seven research projects, bearing on this topic, are then examined in terms of their goals and their relationships to some of the five models. The practical implications of these projects for psychological education and career counselling are also outlined.
