Phase diagrams of aqueous two-phase systems composed of poly(ethylene) glycol (PEG) 6000 g·mol−1, lithium sulfate, sodium sulfate, and magnesium sulfate or zinc sulfate were determined at (283.15, 298.15, and 313.15) K. The effect of temperature on binodal position was not significant, indicating a small enthalpic contribution associating to the phase segregation. The ability of four sulfate salts to induce the formation of the biphasic system with PEG 6000 is as follows: ZnSO4 > MgSO4 > Na2SO4 > Li2SO4.

Phase diagrams of systems composed of polyethylene(glycol) (PEG) 1500 + sodium citrate + water and PEG 4000 + sodium citrate + water were determined at temperatures of (10, 35, and 45) °C and (5, 10, 25, 35, and 45) °C, respectively. The influence of temperature and PEG molar mass on the equilibrium data of the system was analyzed. Binodal curves shifted toward the origin with the increase in PEG molar mass.

Phase equilibrium data of an aqueous two-phase system composed of poly(ethylene oxide) 4000 + copper sulfate + water were determined at four temperatures, (5, 10, 35, and 45) °C. The phase separation was entropically driven as can be seen by the small influence of temperature on the phase diagram. However, the rise in temperature increased both the tie line length and the slope of the tie line.
