We study an extended periodic Anderson model, which includes correlations between conduction and $f$ electrons, by employing dynamical mean field theory and continuous-time quantum Monte Carlo simulations. It is clarified how the antiferromagnetic phase, which is stabilized in the ordinary periodic Anderson model, changes into a charge ordered (CO) phase in the strong $c$-$f$ interaction region. A systematic analysis of the effects due to the hybridization and the $c$-$f$ interaction evidences the existence ...

A general multi-orbital Hubbard model, which includes on-site inter-orbital electron hoppings, is introduced and studied. It is shown that the on-site inter-orbital single electron hopping is one of the most basic interactions. Two electron spin-flip and pair-hoppings are shown to be correlation effects of higher order than the on-site inter-orbital single hopping. It is shown how the double and higher hopping interactions can be well-defined for arbitrary systems. The two-orbital Hubbard model ...

The nondegenerate two-orbital Hubbard model is studied within the dynamic mean-field theory to reveal the influence of two important factors, i.e. crystal field splitting and interorbital hopping, on orbital selective Mott transition (OSMT) and realistic compound Ca2-xSrxRuO4. A distinctive feature of the optical conductivity of the two nondegenerate bands is found in OSMT phase, where the metallic character of the wide band is indicated by a nonzero Drude peak, while the insulating narrow band has ...
