We analysed 267 zooplankton samples collected in the South Brazilian Bight (SBB; 23–27°S) to determine whether hydroids, typically benthic, are common components of the pelagic SBB. Two species, Clytia arborescens , recorded for the first time in the Atlantic Ocean, and Clytia sp. were identified. 中学生1～3年生の747名を対象者として, 食生活, 生活習慣, 疲労自覚症状を調査し, 同時に身長, 体重, 血圧, 血液性状を計測・検査し, 食生活や生活習慣が疲労自覚症状の有無や血液性状から見た健康状態とどのように関わっているかを検討し, 以下の結果を得た。1) 食品のとり方は, タマゴ, 牛乳, 野菜は半数以上の者が毎日摂取しているが, 魚, 大豆製品, 海藻, イモは毎日摂取する者の割合がいずれも20%以下と低かった。食べ方では朝食欠食や1人食べの割合が高く, 夕食の食事時間が不規則等の問題が見いだせた。2) 疲労自覚症状30項目の「症状あり」の平均値は8.5項目で, 朝食欠食や食事時間が不規則等の食習慣を有する者, 就寝や起床時間が遅い等の生活習慣を有する者で疲労自覚症状ありの割合が高かった。3) 食習慣や生活習慣の多くの項目で食品摂取のバランスや疲労自覚症状の訴え数と関連のあることが認められた。4) 食品の摂取状況から見た食生活は生活習慣, 疲労自覚症状および総コレステロールと関わっていることが認められ, 中学生では食生活, 生活習慣が健康の保持増進に大きく関与していることが示唆された。
