A heterogeneous monolayer model with two types of binding site was utilized to analyze and interpret the adsorption mechanism of Fe3+, Al3+ and Cu2+ ions on chitosan films at 25–55 °C and pH 6. Theoretical results of statistical physics calculations indicated that the adsorption of Fe3+, Al3+ and Cu2+ ions was multi-ionic where two adsorption sites (i.e., amino and hydroxyl groups) were involved but with a different contribution degree. Endothelin (ET)-1 levels were analyzed in patients who underwent elective coronary stenting. There was a significant increase in systemic ET-1 levels immediately after the procedure, which is probably a marker of endothelial dysfunction that is associated with arterial injury. The 2015 Lancet Commission on global surgery identified surgery and anaesthesia as indispensable parts of holistic health-care systems. However, COVID-19 exposed the fragility of planned surgical services around the world, which have also been neglected in pandemic recovery planning. This study aimed to develop and validate a novel index to support local elective surgical system strengthening and address growing backlogs.

There are two principal methods are utilized to estimate the core power loss (CPL) in magnetic components: Empirical equations and hysteresis models. Both approaches need an anterior test or analysis to calculate the CPL. Most of them are based on improved Steinmetz equations. Tests are usually costly or the number of necessary tests is excessive for the component design development. 2D analyses using Finite Element are not good enough for several magnetic components for their lack of symmetries.
