Wastewater treatment plants are known as major sources for the release of micropollutants and bacteria into surface waters. To reduce this contaminant and microbial input, new technologies for effluent treatment have become available. Multislice-computed tomography (MSCT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are increasingly used for forensic purposes. Based on broad experience in clinical neuroimaging, post-mortem MSCT and MRI were performed in 57 forensic cases with the goal to evaluate the radiological methods concerning their usability for forensic head and brain examination. During 2010 the LHC delivered pp collisions with a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. In this paper, the results of comprehensive studies of missing transverse energy as measured by the CMS detector are presented. Abstract A test of lepton flavor universality in B ± → K ± μ + μ − and B ± → K ± e + e − decays, as well as a measurement of differential and integrated branching fractions of a nonresonant B ± → K ± μ + μ − decay are presented. The analysis is made possible by a dedicated data set of proton-proton collisions at s = 13 TeV recorded in 2018, by the CMS experiment at the LHC, using a special high-rate data stream designed for collecting about 10 billion unbiased b hadron decays. Abstract Aus 3‐Acetamido‐ N ‐methylphthalsäureimid (4) , 1,4‐Diiodbutan und Phthalimidomalonester oder 4 und (4‐Brombutyl)(phthalimido)malonester wird über wenige Zwischenstufen in guter Ausbeute das chemilumineszenzfähige Lysinderivat 1 , erhalten, dessen ε‐Aminogruppe durch eine Phthalhydrazidgruppe substituiert ist. Cu 2+ ‐Ionen senken die Lichtausbeute von 1 , die bei der häminkatalysierten Oxidation durch wäßrig‐alkalisches Wasserstoff‐peroxid etwa 40% des Luminols beträgt, auf die Hälfte dieses Betrages.

Abstract Objective Temporary anchorage devices (TADs) have been successfully used in the maxilla. However, in the mandible, lower success rates present a challenge in everyday clinical practice. A new TAD design will be presented that is intended to demonstrate optimization of the coupling structure as well as in the thread area for use in the mandible. A bstract The results of a model-independent search for the pair production of new bosons within a mass range of 0 . 21 < m < 60 GeV, are presented. This study utilizes events with a four-muon final state. We use two data sets, comprising 41 . 5 fb − 1 and 59 . 7 fb − 1 of proton-proton collisions at $$ \sqrt{s} $$ s = 13 TeV, recorded in 2017 and 2018 by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC. A bstract A search for a new charged particle X with mass between 0.3 and 2.0 TeV decaying to a W boson and a photon is presented, using proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected by the CMS experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 138 fb − 1 . Particle X has electric charge ±1 and is assumed to have spin 0. The search is performed using the electron and muon decays of the W boson.
