The role of antenatal events on growth and predisposition to osteochondrosis (OC) was investigated in foals born to between-breed embryo transfers. The photoproduction of $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\phantom{\rule{1.111pt}{0ex}}$ mesons at low transverse momentum is studied in peripheral lead-lead collisions collected by the LHCb Collaboration at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $5\phantom{\rule{3.33333pt}{0ex}}\mathrm{TeV}$, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 210 $\ensuremath{\mu}{\mathrm{b}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$. Tests of lepton universality in B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} decays where ℓ is either an electron or a muon are presented. The differential branching fractions of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays are measured in intervals of the dilepton invariant mass squared. Events containing a Z boson and a charm jet are studied for the first time in the forward region of proton-proton collisions. The data sample used corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1} collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. In events with a Z boson and a jet, the fraction of charm jets is determined in intervals of Z-boson rapidity in the range 2.0<y(Z)<4.5. A measurement of the lifetimes of the Ωc0 and Ξc0 baryons is reported using proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4fb-1 collected by the LHCb experiment. The Ωc0 and Ξc0 baryons are produced directly from proton interactions and reconstructed in the pK-K-π+ final state. The Ωc0 lifetime is measured to be 276.5±13.4±4.4±0.7fs, and the Ξc0 lifetime is measured to be 148.0±2.3±2.2±0.2fs, where the first uncertainty is statistical, ...

First evidence of a structure in the J/ψΛ invariant mass distribution is obtained from an amplitude analysis of Ξb-→J/ψΛK- decays. The observed structure is consistent with being due to a charmonium pentaquark with strangeness with a significance of 3.1σ including systematic uncertainties and look-elsewhere effect. Its mass and width are determined to be 4458.8±2.9-1.1+4.7MeV and 17.3±6.5-5.7+8.0MeV, respectively, where the quoted uncertainties are statistical and systematic. The structure is also ...

The $\Xi_c^0$ baryon is unstable and usually decays into charmless final states by the $c \to s u\overline{d}$ transition. It can, however, also disintegrate into a $\pi^-$ meson and a $\Lambda_c^+$ baryon via $s$ quark decay or via $cs\to d c$ weak scattering. The interplay between the latter two processes governs the size of the branching fraction ${\cal{B}}$$(\Xi_c^0\to \pi^-\Lambda_c^+)$, first measured here to be $(0.55\pm 0.02 \pm 0.18)$%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and second systematic. The first measurement of the effective lifetime of the ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}$ meson in the decay ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{\ensuremath{-}}{D}_{s}^{+}$ is reported using a proton-proton collision data set, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$, collected by the LHCb experiment. The resonant substructure of B0s→¯D0K−π+ decays is studied using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb−1 of pp collision data recorded by the LHCb detector. An excess at m(¯D0K−)≈2.86 GeV/c2 is found to be an admixture of spin-1 and spin-3 resonances. Therefore, the D∗sJ(2860)− state previously observed in inclusive e+e−→¯D0K−X and pp→¯D0K−X processes consists of at least two particles. The $B^0 \to K^{*0} \overline{K}^{*0}$ and $B^0_s \to K^{*0} \overline{K}^{*0}$ decays are studied using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3fb$^{-1}$. An untagged and time-integrated amplitude analysis of $B^0_{(s)} \to (K^+\pi^-)(K^-\pi^+) $ decays in two-body invariant mass regions of 150 MeV$/c^2$ around the $K^{*0}$ mass is performed.
