Metal corrosion is an important economic problem globally. One of the best ways to protect metal surfaces from corrosion is by the use of corrosion inhibitors, especially surfactants. This study assesses anticorrosion properties of three inhibitor compounds (S1, S2, and S3) of ethoxylate sulfanilamide containing 2, 10, and 20 units of ethylene oxide on carbon steel in 1 M HCl solution. The anticorrosive performance of S1, S2, and S3 was studied using potentiodynamic polarization (PDP), electrochemical ...

Let Δ α \Delta _{\alpha } be the Bessel operator with matricial coefficients defined on ( 0 , ∞ ) (0,\infty ) by Δ α U ( t ) = U ( t ) + 2 α + I t U ′ ( t ) \begin{equation*}\Delta _{\alpha }U(t)=U(t)+\frac {2\alpha +I}{t}U’(t)\end{equation*} where α \alpha is a diagonal matrix and let q q be an n × n n\times n matrix-valued function. In this work, we prove that there exists an isomorphism X X on the space of even C ∞ {\mathcal C}^{\infty } , C n \mathbb {C}^n -valued functions which transmutes Δ α \Delta _{\alpha } and ( Δ α + q ) (\Delta _{\alpha }+q) . This allows us to ...

Abstract The studied Schiff-base compounds in this work are multitasked investigated as corrosion inhibitors and also, to improve the physical and mechanical properties of reinforced concrete. The efficiency inhibition of the two novel Schiff-base compounds named (DHSiMF) and (DHSiB) for corrosion of carbon-steel in aqueous media of 1 M HCl was assessed via electrochemical methods and loss in weight. FT-IR, 1 H-NMR spectra and elemental analysis were used to confirm the structure of such compounds. ...

Abstract This study was designed to test the ability of some plant growth-promoting bacteria to adverse the effects of salinity on soybean growth. The effect of Bacillus MAP3 and Enterobacter Delta PSK, along with Bradyrhizobium japonicum was studied on soybean at two levels of NaCl salinization (50 and 100 mM). The physical growth parameters of bacterized soybean (21 days old), particularly plants co-inoculated with Bradyrhizobium japonicum + Enterobacter Delta PSK, were significantly enhanced compared ...
