The immunosuppressive effects of prodigiosin 25-C were studied in comparison with FK506. Both prodigiosin 25-C and FK506 suppressed T cell proliferation in response to concanavalin A (con A) or phytohemagglutinin (PHA) more significantly than that to lipopolysaccharide. We have established a simple enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of anti-factor IX IgG subclasses in haemophilia B patients with inhibitors. We implemented a magnetooptical edge detection system using split sensors. We measured the carrier-to-noise ratio and edge shift quantity of readout signals. The edge shift quantity steeply increases when a recorded domain length in the information track direction becomes shorter than half the diameter of the reading light spot.
