This paper traces some of the linkages between incendiarism and imposition via the example of Kyoto in the latter half of the sixteenth century. When Nobunaga moved into Kyoto in 1568, he began to ensure the feudal landowners their landholding. But he destroyod some area of Kyoto on fire in 1573. Prostaglandin D synthase (PGDS) activity was detected in human seminal plasma (0.05-1.83 nmol/min per milligram protein). The enzyme was purified from human seminal plasma by immunoaffinity chromatography and found to be 27 kDa in size and N-glycosylated, similar to PGDS in the cerebrospinal fluid.
