Abstract Reaction of 1 H ‐cyclopropa [ b ]naphthalene ( 1a ) or 1 H ‐cyclopropa[ b ]anthracene ( 10a ) with tris(acetonitrile)tricarbonylchromium affords cyclobutanaphthalenone and cyclobutaanthracenone 2 and 11 , respectively. In contrast, the bis‐silylated Cycloproparenes 1b and 10b undergo complexation at the terminal benzene ring and lead to the arene‐tricarbonylchromium complexes 4b and 12 , respectively. Desifylation of 4b to 4a is effected by t ‐BuOK.

A tagging algorithm to identify jets that are significantly displaced from the proton-proton (pp) collision region in the CMS detector at the LHC is presented. Displaced jets can arise from the decays of long-lived particles (LLPs), which are predicted by several theoretical extensions of the standard model. The first evidence for the Higgs boson decay to a Z boson and a photon is presented, with a statistical significance of 3.4 standard deviations. The result is derived from a combined analysis of the searches performed by the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations with proton-proton collision datasets collected at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) from 2015 to 2018. Abstract Measurements of Higgs boson production, where the Higgs boson decays into a pair of $$\uptau $$ τ leptons, are presented, using a sample of proton-proton collisions collected with the CMS experiment at a center-of-mass energy of "Equation missing", corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 138 $$\,\text {fb}^{-1}$$ fb - 1 . A search for low-mass dilepton resonances in Higgs boson decays is conducted in the four-lepton final state. The decay is assumed to proceed via a pair of beyond the standard model particles, or one such particle and a Z boson. The search uses proton-proton collision data collected with the CMS detector at the CERN LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb$^{-1}$, at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} =$ 13 TeV. Anisotropies in the initial energy density distribution of the quark-gluon plasma created in high energy heavy ion collisions lead to anisotropies in the azimuthal distributions of the final-state particles known as collective flow. A search for leptoquarks produced singly and in pairs in proton-proton collisions is presented. We consider the leptoquark (LQ) to be a scalar particle of charge -1/3$e$ coupling to a top quark plus a tau lepton ($\mathrm{t}\tau$) or a bottom quark plus a neutrino ($\mathrm{b}\nu$), or a vector particle of charge +2/3$e$, coupling to $\mathrm{t}\nu$ or $\mathrm{b}\tau$.
