We report a case of a 68‐year‐old man admitted to the emergency department with syncope preceded by rapid palpitations. His admission ECG demonstrated a sustained ventricular tachycardia (VT) originating from the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT). This report highlights the importance of distinguishing ventricular tachycardia caused by arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVD) from the more benign idiopathic RVOT‐VT. Abstract The presence of dyes is one of the main contributors to the organic load in textile effluents. In this study a mixture of surfactants, produced from animal/vegetable fats, was used to remove the Direct Yellow 27 dye from a synthetic wastewater through an ionic flocculation process. It was evaluated the effect of contact time, temperature, and surfactant concentration on dye removal efficiency. The textile industry uses large amounts of water in its processes. Such water ends up contaminated by a number of substances, including dyes, creating an environmental challenge. Abstract The combined fit of the measured energy spectrum and shower maximum depth distributions of ultra-high-energy cosmic rays is known to constrain the parameters of astrophysical models with homogeneous source distributions. Abstract The use of ionic flocculation is proposed to remove malachite green (MG), in this case, from water. A surfactant with the polluted solution and calcium is added. The surfactant-calcium reaction forms a precipitate, which aggregates into flocs on agitation. The flocs adsorb MG, which can then be removed by centrifugation.
