Abstract The murine T cell clone D10.G4.1 can be induced to proliferate by monoclonal antibodies (mAb) to the T cell receptor (TcR) or to Thy‐1 molecules. When cells were stimulated by anti‐TcR mAb, a group of 4 proteins (19–25 kDa) was specifically phosphorylated. This effect was completely mimicked by the Ca 2+ ionophore A23187, whereas only two of these proteins (19 kDa and 25 kDa) were phosphorylated after cell exposure to the phorbol ester 12‐O‐tetradecanoylphorbol 13‐acetate. Cervical screening is only efficient if a large part of eligible women participate. Our aim was to identify sociodemographic barriers to cervical screening and consider self-reported reasons to postpone screening.Between September 2011 and June 2015, a questionnaire addressing reasons for nonparticipation in cervical screening was completed by 556 women who had not undergone a Pap test in the preceding 3 years. Absolute ac calibration of wattmeters demands sources of exceptional stability. It is felt that for this purpose amplifiers are more superior to rotating generators. Stability and spectral purity of waveforms generated by an amplifier power system lead to the reconsideration of calibration methods, one of which is the use of a differential calorimeter. The result obtained by our method and by power definition through measuring U, I, and angle φ agreed to within 5 × 10 −5 .

The four LEP experiments have each performed precision measurements of Z0 parameters. A method is described for combining the results of the four experiments, which takes into account the experimental and theoretical systematic errors and their correlations. We apply this method to the 1989 and 1990 LEP data, corresponding to approximately 650 000 Z0 decays into hadrons and charged leptons, to obtain precision values for the Z0 parameters. The L3 experiment is one of the six large detectors designed for the new generation of electron-positron accelerators. It is the only detector that concentrates its efforts on limited goals of measuring electrons, muons and photons. By not attempting to identify hadrons, L3 has been able to provide an order of magnitude better resolution for electrons, muons and photons. Vertices and hadron jets are also studied.
