The case of an adult female of two-toed-sloth (Choloepus sp.), victim of running over is described. The animal had jaw fracture and loss of part of the tongue, which hampered their food. Remained under care for ten months, during which treatment with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory were needed and whose doses used were effective.
