The first, Suchia Krebs, is previously occupied by Simpson. The second, Loricata Merrem, is previously occupied by Schumacher. Therefore, two substitute names are here proposed: Holosuchia for the first and Loricatosuchia for the second. Keywords: Archosauria, Prestosuchus, Huenesuchus, Santa Maria Formation, Triassic.
