Joseph Mankiewicz, US, 1959) and The Boys of St. Vincent (dir. John N. Smith, Canada, 1992). His book Innocence and Rapture (forthcoming from Palgrave-Macmillan) is about children and aestheticism, and he is now at work on a book on Henry James.
