地質調査総合センターでは現在,5万分の1地質図幅「鳥羽」の作成を行っている.その研究過程で,志摩半島に分布する秩父累帯北帯及び三波川帯の付加体の付加年代を決定することを目的に,砂岩及び砂質片岩中の砕屑性ジルコンのU–Pb年代を測定した. 秩父累帯北帯逢坂峠コンプレックスの砂岩中ジルコンの最若粒子集団は204.4±4.0 Ma(三畳紀末~ジュラ紀初頭)を示し,また同帯河内コンプレックスの砂岩中のジルコンの最若粒子集団は183.4±2.9 Ma(前期ジュラ紀中頃~前期ジュラ紀後半)を示すことが明らかになった.これらは放散虫化石から想定されている陸源性砕屑岩の時代(付加年代)と矛盾しない.また,三波川帯宮川層の砂質片岩中のジルコンの最若粒子集団は177.1±1.6 Ma と95.5±2.5 Ma(後期白亜紀前半)を示すことが判明した.後者は,伊勢地域(図幅西隣)から得られている99–83 MaのフェンジャイトK–Ar年代(変成・冷却年代)と調和的である.しかし,前者は後者よりも有意に古い年代を示す結果となった.前者の妥当性を検証するため,今後更なる砕屑性ジルコンU–Pb年代やフェンジャイトK– ...

Combined treatment with dexamethasone and oncostatin M (DEX/OSM) or interleukin-6 (DEX/IL-6) resulted in the appearance of numerous large vacuoles in human fetal liver (HFL) cells and showed synergistic effects on the formation of vacuoles. 三重県志摩半島の秩父累帯南帯には,中期~後期ジュラ紀付加体からなる築地層群と中期ジュラ紀~前期白亜紀浅海層からなる今浦層群が分布する.5万分の1地質図幅「鳥羽」を作成する過程で,両層群の泥岩から中期及び後期ジュラ紀の放散虫化石を見出し,多くの化石種を基に,より精度の高い堆積年代を示すことができた.築地層群の泥岩はカロビアン期前半~中頃を,そして今浦層群の泥岩はバトニアン期中頃~カロビアン期後半,カロビアン期後半~オックスフォーディアン期中頃,チトニアン期前半という3つの時代を示すことが明らかになった.これらの時代はこれまで報告されていた年代データの範囲に収まる.
