Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is a complication of ovarian stimulation with increased vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and vascular permeability in the ovarian tissue. Transient receptor potential melastatin 2 (TRPM2) is known to be associated with angiogenesis and vascular permeability. In this experimental study, we aimed to investigate the activity of TRPM2 in the development of OHSS.Fourteen immature female rats were divided into two groups. Group 1 was the control group, and ...

Neurological symptoms (neuro-Behçet's disease; NBD) occur in a fraction of Behçet's disease (BD) patients and often present with parenchymal brain lesions and clinical exacerbations. Our aim was to identify genes associated with attack and remission periods of NBD.Microarray analysis was performed using peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) samples obtained during attack and remission periods of five NBD patients. Expression levels of the most significantly up-regulated genes were measured with ...

In this paper,we proved three new Katugampola fractional Hermite- Hadamard type inequalities for harmonically convex functions by using the left and the right fractional integrals independently. One of our Katugampola frac- tional Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities is better than given in [15]. Also, we gave two new Katugampola fractional identities for differentiable functions. By using these identities, we obtained some new trapezoidal type inequalities for harmonically convex functions. Our results ...

The increasing mutation frequency of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the emergence of successive variants have made correct diagnosis hard to perform. Developing efficient and accurate methods to diagnose infected patients is crucial to effectively mitigate the pandemic. Here, we developed an electrochemical immunosensor based on SARS-CoV-2 antibody cocktail-conjugated magnetic nanoparticles for the sensitive and accurate detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and its variants in nasopharyngeal swabs. The application ...

Abstract In this paper, we proved two new Riemann–Liouville fractional Hermite–Hadamard type inequalities for harmonically convex functions using the left and right fractional integrals independently. We relate the connection between the sizes of circuits in suborbital graph for the normalizer of [Formula: see text] in PSL(2,[Formula: see text]) and the congruence equations arising from related group action. We give a number theoretic result which says that all prime divisors of [Formula: see text] for any integer u must be congruent to [Formula: see text].

We look at the immunoreactivity of cholinergic receptor muscarinic 1 (CHRM1) in the ovarian tissues of rats with ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) considering the possibility that the muscarinic activity may contribute to the pathophysiology of OHSS.In this study, 14 immature female Wistar Albino rats were divided into two groups at random. The rats were 22 days old. Rats in the control group (n=7) were 22 days old, while those in the OHSS group (n=7) received 10 IU follicle-stimulating hormone ...

The Fibonacci sequence has many interesting properties and studied by many mathematicians. The terms of this sequence appear in nature and is connected with combinatorics and other branches of mathematics. In this paper, we investigate the orbit of a special subgroup of the modular group. Taking T c : = ( c 2 + c + 1 − c c 2 1 − c ) ∈ Γ 0 ( c 2 ) , c ∈ Z , c ≠ 0 , Tc:=(c2+c+1−cc21−c)∈Γ0(c2), c∈Z, c≠0, we determined the orbit { T r c ( ∞ ) : r ∈ N } . {Tcr(∞):r∈N}. Each rational number of this set is the form P r ( c ) / Q r ( c ) , Pr(c)/Qr(c), where P r ( ...

CubeSat missions are changing, and their number is increasing day by day due to their high efficiency. Their small size makes it easier for CubeSats to reach space. In this study, a new launch vehicle was designed to fit the CubeSat dimensions. The first design and analysis of a stable launch vehicle that will carry the 3U-sized CubeSat to the stratosphere layer has been carried out. In future studies, studies of the launch vehicle that will reach the Karman line, which is the space limit, will ...

The 2015 Lancet Commission on global surgery identified surgery and anaesthesia as indispensable parts of holistic health-care systems. However, COVID-19 exposed the fragility of planned surgical services around the world, which have also been neglected in pandemic recovery planning. This study aimed to develop and validate a novel index to support local elective surgical system strengthening and address growing backlogs.

Turkish women use cities as service areas where they practice their social gender roles. Parks are one of these service areas. This study aims to propose ways to analyze and assess green areas as public places regarding the women-friendly city concept as a way of promoting gender equality. The study claims that planning and constructing a green area is insufficient to create a public place, and the existence of a green area does not mean that it can be used. Furthermore, green areas should be approached ...

There is a close parallel between the freedom, equality and socialization that the residents in a social settıng are enjoying and the openness and equal availability of the social infrastructure in this setting. When these points are taken into consideration, it is possible to get the idea that social infrastructure areas should be planned as woman-friendly city criteria. So long as the urban planning fails to accomplish this task of creating a due process and language for gender equality, the social ...
