In the present study, we explored the mechanism responsible for the antilipolytic effect of berberine in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. One zinc-based coordination polymer was synthesized by a solvothermal method using zinc nitrate and 1,4-bis(1-imidazolyl)benzene (bib) ligand, {Zn(bib)·(SO4)·(H2O)}n (1). The fluorescence test results showed that compound 1 had a good fluorescence quenching effect on antibiotics and metal ions, especially norfloxacin and Fe3+.
