Abstract Atmospheric ozone was monitored in Michigan during the late 1880's using Schoenbein's test paper. A conversion chart was constructed to relate the Schoenbein ozone scale at various relative humidifies to ozone levels indicated by a Dasibi ozone monitor. Average monthly ozone values were highest during the spring months and lowest during the winter season. Highest recorded ozone levels accompanied southwest wind flow into Michigan.
