A Word for the poor: or, General thoughts, candidly submitted to the good sense, discernment, and particular consideration, of the British public, on the late scanty harvest, and the dreary prospect of a hard winter. Interspersed, are a few homely, but wholesome, hints (if rightly taken) to all deep speculators, and greedy monopolists, whether farmers or cornfactors, usurious contractors, forestallers, engrossers, or regraters. With a glance at levellers, and a parting word of admonition to the poor
