Student have been asked to take part in an experiment later this summer posing as beach daytrippers. They will build sandcastles, paddle at the water's edge and even swim. They will do it on what are supposted to be some of Britain's safest shores. The experiment, by the Department of Environment and Water Research Centre, will discover if complaining tourists are right and the beaches are health risks.
