The Law Commission wants legislation to end the present situation whereby if there is more than one executor all must agree to transfer property but a sale can go ahead if only one has signed a document. The commission wants reform so all executors must agree before a deceased's property is sold. It says otherwise representatives not consulted are prevented from exercising their responisibilities..
