Smith for the Last Eighteen Months, I Am Inclined to Place Much Confidence in Him as a Gentleman of Honorable and Upright Character, and Well Acquainted with His Profession, Dental Visitor, I Was Well Acquainted with Dr. J. W. Smith, While He Resided in This Town, and so Far as I Know, or Have Ever Heard, He Sustained a Fair and Unblemished Character, and Was, I Believe, Much Respected as a Man and a Citizen, This May Certify That Dr. J. W. Smith Has Been in the Practice of Dental Surgery in This Place for the Last Two Years, Testimonials, The Subscriber Has for a Number of Years Been Acquainted with the Practice of Dr. J. W. Smith, To Whom It May Concern: Dr. J. W. Smith Is, in My Opinion, a Man of Integrity, Dr. J. W. Smith Having Performed Several Operations on Teeth in My Family and Exhibited Uncommon Skill and Ingenuity in His Profession, Especially in Furnishing One Entire Set of Artificial Teeth, on Gold Plate, Which Were Worn with Perfect Ease, and Useful in Mastication, I Have Long Been Acquainted with Dr. J. W. Smith, Now of Northampton, and Have Had Opportunity of Witnessing His Professional Operations in My Own Family, I Have Known of Dr. J. W. Smith, Some Years, and Have Personally Known Him for the past Two Years, I Now Proceed to Notice the Charge of Plagiarism, Which Dr. Walker Has Thought Proper to Bring against Me, This Is to Certify, That about Four Years since I Had Occasion for the Services of a Dentist, and Called on Dr. J. W. Smith, Who Set for Me, on a Plate, a Number of Teeth, Which Fitted Well, and in Every Respect Have Given Satisfaction, This Is to Certify, That Dr. J. W. Smith Inserted for Me, about Three Months since, a Double Set of Teeth, with Artificial Gums, Dr. J. W. Smith Has Performed Various Dental Operations in My Family, Including Some Very Difficult Fillings, to My Entire Satisfaction.
