The name 'Cruvelli' is written clearly on the back cover; it is also on the front cover but with the name 'Charton' written over it. The role was intended for Sophie Cruvelli, who abandoned Her Majesty's Theatre at this time (see Benjamin Lumley: 'Reminiscences of the Opera', London: Hurst and Blackett, 1864.)2. Donna Anna. In 2 volumes. Singer's name 'Mad Le Grange'. 3. Don Luis. 2 copies, each in 2 volumes. Singers' names: 'Sigr Ferlotti', 'Sigr Lusini', 'Sig Debassini'.
