Resumo
'No. 1'. (Moderato, vivace). Orchestral parts: violin 1 (4 copies), violin 2 (4 copies), viola (2 copies), bass (5 copies), flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horns, trumpet, trombone, bass trombone, percussion. Most of the parts have the title 'Liberata Gerusaleme': the title 'Armide' appears on the flute and oboe parts. Of the many ballets and operas of 'Armida', this is most probably related to the work described in the Era, December 7 1851, under 'Foreign musical memoranda': 'Amalia Ferraris...has just made her re-appearance at San Carlo, in a new grand ballet, entitled Armida e Rinaldo o La Gerusalemme Liberata'. 300 x 250mm.
