pp 139-42 1810 Sept 30. Brick Lane. He writes of his pleasure at receiving Priscilla's letter and any tokens of the affection of his sisters-in-law, his enjoyment of Earlham and his anticipation of his visit there on Friday. He describes the pressure of work, attendance at Meeting that morning and his reading. He mentions that Kitty had been married that morning and that he was dining with Aveling. He sends her messages for the Edwards, with whom she was staying in Lynn, and "orders" her to go to Earlham the day before he should arrive so that she might not be too tired when he came.
