This Is the Three-Story Fujimi Watchtower, Located at the Eastern Edge of the Hasuike (Lotus Pond) Moat. This Watchtower Appears the Same from All Directions. Destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923, It Was Rebuilt in Concrete around 1927. This Photograph Was Probably Taken around 1870 (like Photograph #4015) by Felix Beato.
