India Museum no. 1432. Received from Captain Lyon, 7 February 1871. Duplicate print at Photo 1001 (3190). 541. - A staircase in the outer wall leads to the roof of the mosque, from which this view of the ruined city is obtained. It is considered the best in Beejapore, and gives an excellent idea of the ruins and desolation around. On the left is seen the Mehter-Mahal. and in the far distance a little to the right, is the Ibrahim Rozah, both already described, while the Sat Kund and Upari Burj. an isolated tower 80 ft high, are also easily discerned, as well as other tombs and buildings too numerous to mention.
