Resumo
Another of the stone doors in the colonnade of the Tombs of the Queens. India Museum no. 1458. Received from Captain Lyon 7 February 1871. Duplicate print at Photo 212/7 (38). 566 and 567. - At each of the corners of the colonnade which surrounds the Quadrangle of the Ranee Hazeera enclosure are 4 stone doors, two of which are shown in these two Photographs. The carving is good but the appearance is very heavy, and lacks the relief which would have been obtained had the slabs been cut through as in the windows. Photographer: Lyon, Edmund David.
