Photograph of Buddhist sculpture pieces from Jamal-Garhi. This print shows boxed sculptures, including the following subjects: Buddha meeting a Naga king, Buddha arriving at the Bodhi tree, worship of Buddha's hair-dress and of triratna (three jewels) symbol. A note with the Jamal-Garhi prints reads, 'The plates entered here also include photographs taken from sculptures coming from Takht-i-Bahl and Shahr-i-Buhlul. No separate arrangement was possible. Nearly all the sculptures coming from these places are now in the Indian Museum, Calcutta.'. Photographer: Craddock, James.
