Tokuda, Kin'ichi; Mar. 25, 1885 - Mar. 28, 1913. Military Officer, the First Victim of an Aircraft Crash in Japan. Born in Yamaguchi. In 1907, He Graduated from the Military Academy, and in 1912 Was Selected as a Trainee Aircraft Pilot. In 1913, While He Was Flying a Bleriot Type Aircraft from Aoyama Drill Ground, the Aircraft Crashed to the East of the Tokorozawa Airfield Because a Sudden Gust of Wind Snapped the Right Wing Brace. He Died with First Lieutenant Suzutaro Kimura Who Was Also on Board.
