Photograph of Kila-i-Kuhna mosque in Delhi from the 'Earl of Jersey Collection' was taken by S.C. Sen in the 1880s. The Kila-i-Kuhna mosque is part of the Purana Qila fort complex located near the Junna River, north of Humayun's Tomb. Kila-i-Khuna mosque was built by Sher Shah Sur c.1541, an Afghan who sent Emperor Humayun into temporary exile between 1538-1545. He also completed building the Purana Qila. Photographer: Sen, S.C.
