The Erect Posture Emphasises the Deformities of the Lower Extremities. The Femora Are Bowed Forwards and There Is Knock-Knee. The Right Tibia Presents a Curve with Its Convexity Inwards. The Epiphyses at the Ankle Are Enlarged and the Right Foot Appears to Have Undergone a Partial Displacement Outwards. The Subject Had Never Walked. Her Twin Sister Had Also Suffered Severely from Rickets, for Which an Osteotomy Had Been Performed: SBHB MU/14/1/29
