Black and White, Carte De Visite Photograph of the Feet of a Boy Aged Seven Years Who Was Affected with Myositis Ossificans. The Patient Presented a Series of Lumps, Apparently Bony, along the Margin of Each Latissimus Dorsi, One in the Left Trapezius a Little below the Occiput, Another in the Right Trapezius Midway down the Neck, and a Third over the Right Supraspinous Fossa. Another in the Substance of the Right Triceps, Reached from the Posterior Margin of the Axilla Nearly to the Insertion of the Deltoid. A Saddle of Bone Covered the Erector Spinae on Either Side, and Rendered the Boy Incapable of Stooping. The Right Shoulder-Joint Was Quite Fixed, but There Was a Little Movement in the Left. There Was No Ossification of Any of the Muscles on the Anterior Surface of the Trunk. There Was No History of Syphilis; Parents Healthy; Grandparents on Male Side Rheumatic.
