Daguerreotype by Charles Louis Chevalier (1804-1859) Sent to William Henry Fox Talbot (1800-1877) the British Photographic Pioneer. Chevalier Was One of Many Early Experimental Photographers, He Was in Touch with Louis Daguerre and Fox Talbot, Helping Daguerre with His Apparatus and Experiments. The Church of St. Genevieve (Later the Pantheon) Was Designed by Jacques Germain Soufflot in 1755-1756 and Is a Building of Exemplary Classical Loyalty Combined with the Gothic Structure of a Cathedral.
