The Hyakumonozoroe Senninmusha Gyoretsu (One Thousand Samurai Procession) at Nikko Toshogu Shrine Is Officially Called "Shinyotogisai." This Festival Commemorates the Transfer of the Shrine to Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu from Mt. Kuno (Shizuoka Prefecture) to Nikko. The Festival Is Held Twice a Year, in May and October.
