Hikone Castle, the Brainchild of II Naokatsu, Reached Completion in 1622 after about Twenty Years of Work. The Pine Trees on the Right Are "Iroha Matsu." The Building in the Foreground Is the Sawaguchi Tamon Watchtower and Just behind It Is the Tenbin Watchtower. On the Top of the Hill Is the Castle Tower. All of the Buildings Are Intact Today.
