This Is Tsubame-No-Chaya (Swallow Teahouse) Constructed on the North Shore of Shioiri Pond during the Reign of 11th Shogun Tokugawa Ienari. The Name Is Said to Be Derived from the Fact That the Nail Coverings Were Shaped like a Swallow. During Ienari's Reign, the Hamarikyu Garden Underwent Extensive Changes, and Teahouses Such as Matsu-No-Chaya and Taka-No-Chaya Were Built in Addition to This One.
