This Is the Same Photograph as One Published in the December 1, 1873 Issue of the Far East with the Caption "View from Aoyama Road." Aoyama Is a Plateau, and Present-Day Aoyama Dori Connects the Low Lands of Akasaka Mitsuke and Shibuya. This Photograph Was Probably Taken from the Location of Present-Day Aoyama Dori near Akasaka Mitsuke, Facing South. However, There Is No Explanation in the Far East and so It Is Hard to Say for Sure.
